Frequently Asked Questions
Why does my sublimation wrap seam tilt diagonally on skinny tumblers?
Because the top circumference is slightly larger than the bottom circumference (e.g. 9.25″ vs 8.50″). A rectangular wrap cannot map onto a truncated cone without warping.
What is the formula for conical fan unwrap?
The fan angle is calculated as θ = (C_top - C_bottom) / slant_height in radians, projecting rectangular coordinates onto polar concentric arcs.
